Q: Node drains and stopping BGP announcements

Hey, I currently had the question, what happens if I would like to drain a control-plane which uses kube-vip to announce the cluster api via BGP. Is kube-vip stopping to announce the BGP ip when e.g. the node get's drained? Is this documented? Thanks in advance 👋🏻
